Frequently asked questions
Does HoldQR take a cut of UPI payments?
No. The Pay button opens the customer’s own UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM) with your UPI ID filled in. The money goes straight to your bank account; HoldQR never handles it and charges no fees on payments.
What happens if my phone number, UPI ID or timings change?
Edit the profile in your dashboard and the change is live immediately. The printed QR code stays the same, so stickers, standees and visiting cards never need reprinting.
Do customers need an app?
No. They scan with the phone camera and the page opens in the browser. Every button uses what is already on their phone: the dialler, WhatsApp, Google Maps and their UPI app.
Can it replace my visiting card?
Yes. "Save contact" adds your business to the customer’s phone contacts in one tap, with your number, email, address and website. Print the QR code on your card and it never goes out of date.
Can I see how many people call or pay?
